Red Cars Attract More Bird Droppings than any other color

Scientists in England have studied the frequency of bird poop on different color cars and result was awesome as published
in The Daily Mail.

According to survey out of 1,140 observed cars, 18 percent of red vehicles were hit with bird droppings.

Green cars had the least droppings with a 1 percent rate.

Why red? The Daily Mail offers up a bit of explanation.

Although there is no science to back the theory, some drivers believe birds target red cars because they see the colour as signifying danger and attack.

Angry birds indeed. The full spectrum and their incidence ratios are below:

Red – 18 percent

Blue – 14 percent

Black – 11 percent

White – 7 percent

Grey/Silver – 3 percent

Green – 1 percent
